Weddings are very important events but, let's face it, they can be very stressful to the participants and to the family members organising them. You are often dealing with a wide range of ages, physical abilities and attitudes - and sometimes, large numbers of people.

 

Is a Toastmaster / MC necessary in all circumstances? Probably not, but someone must diect and handle the flow of people - as well as the various announcements and introductions needed. It could be 'Uncle Jim' or the 'Best Man' but I'm sure these people want to enjoy this important social and family event and not spend their time worrying about logistics.
